ABACA Filter Paper

It is made by the non-wood material ABACA (Manila hemp). The ABACA filter paper is therefore an eco-friendly filter paper. The material has good air and liquid permeability, toughness, and elasticity and it is made in Japan.

The ABACA fiber is four times as strong as that of normal wood pulp but by being half the thickness of wood fiber. These advantages allow many professionals to appreciate the high quality of the “ABACA filter paper”.
